Gardening & Food Education
We integrate gardening and food education into the curriculum. The children will grow food and learn about growing their own food, and healthful eating and behavior.
Co-Founder Julie O’Shea has a master’s degree in Nutrition Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Co-Founder Natalie Gresh is a certified Health Coach from the world renowned Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
Between them, they are trained in over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts.

Arts
We expose our students to various mediums and forms of art. We combine instruction with artistic exploration. Art projects include:
Museum visits
Oil and water color painting
Lessons about different schools of painting and techniques
Child-appropriate lessons about historical and modern artists
Crafts and projects that expand upon lessons in certain modules
Extracurricular Programs
In addition to daily outdoor recess and outdoor free play, Holy City Christian Academy offers various after school programs, clubs, and teams, including karate, soccer, and chess.
