Christian Values, Family Focused, Exceptional Education

Mission Statement

The mission of HCCA is to provide students with an exceptional education in a challenging and nurturing environment. HCCA prepares students to face the challenges of life, while instilling in them a love of learning and a desire to serve God and their fellow man.

HCCA partners with the family to raise up leaders who love Jesus and seek first His Kingdom. “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33)

HCCA teaches and cultivates the identity into our children that they are sons and daughters of the King of Heaven. “And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the LORD Almighty.” (2 Corinthians 6:18)

HCCA partners with the family to direct our children to the Heart of the Father, the grace of Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit. “May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.” (2 Thessalonians 3:5)

HCCA partners with the family to teach the gifts of the Spirit to our children. HCCA will teach the students regarding access to the gifts of the Spirit through the Holy Spirit. “To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.” (1 Corinthians 12:7)

HCCA partners with the family to foster a heart of worship by filling our homes with the worship of God. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:16-17)

HCCA partners with the family to carry out the Great Commission by making disciples of Jesus who desire to make more disciples of Jesus. (Matthew 28:19-20)

Statement of Faith

We believe that God is One being represented through the Trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. As sovereign God, He is the creator and sustainer of life, infinitely good, wise, loving, perfect, and holy, and desires to be in relationship with His children. (Matthew 28:19,
2 Corinthians 13:14)

We believe that God the Father sent His Son into the World as Savior. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the One who redeems those who receive His life, death, and resurrection in their place. We believe in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in his coming return in power and glory. (Colossians 1:13-20)

We believe that the Holy Spirit resides in believers and continues to draw all people to God.
(Romans 8:9)

We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God and was fully inspired by God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

We believe in the power of prayer. Therefore, by agreeing to pray as a family and school for God to cover, bless, and protect the school, the desires of our heart will be in line with the heart of God. This is a spiritual battleground, and the battle must be fought with spiritual weapons. “Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:5-7)

We believe that God created humans as male and female in His image and seeks a relationship with them. (Genesis 1:27-28)

We believe that God created marriage to be between one man and one woman in a “one-flesh” union for life, uniquely reflecting Christ’s relationship with His church. Marriage also serves as the foundational unit of a stable society. We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. The marriage between one man and one woman is God’s covenantal way to establish future leaders and disciples. (Genesis 2:15-25; Ephesians 5:21-33; 1 Corinthians 6:18, 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4)

We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity, and that God offers redemption, forgiveness, and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin. (Acts 3:19-21, Romans 10:9-10, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

We believe that all human life is sacred from time of conception until natural death. (Psalm 139)
